Max von Mylau is a larger sized, very handsome 4 year old German Shepherd. This sweet boy with red highlights throughout his coat has the gentle demeanor of a mature German Shepherd but the playful spirit of a young pup. Max is a dream on the leash. He loves to see the world but is always at your side. And even when given a long leash, he just sticks right by your side, looking forward to those moments when you stop and give him a nice scratch behind the ear. However, what he really looks forward to on outings is playtime. Max will eagerly show you his sit for a game of ball toss. He loves toys, especially those that squeak. He’s not a super energetic boy, but most of all loves the interaction between his person and the fun of getting out and acting silly. And when it comes time to settle down, although he can be sensitive in some spots, Max comes right up to you for cuddles and loves to lay down as close to you as he can. Max meets other pups politely; however, the most important thing to him is having the attention of his people, big or small. Max is looking for a family that will take his smarts and willingness for interaction as an opportunity to turn him into the best dog on the block.
